ELIPTIC Workshop - Charging Infrastructure & Policy recommendations
The ELIPTIC project has organised a workshop with local and regional authorities in cooperation with other European projects. The meeting will take place at Polis (Brussels) on 19th March 2018 afternoon, one day before the ZeEUS Final Conference.
The ELIPTIC Workshop is organised in cooperation with the EU projects ASSURED and CleanMobilEnergy and is designed primarily for local and regional authorities.

The Transport Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting[1] is the world’s largest conference on transportation.k/k It gathers more than 13.000 participants from all over the world in Washington, D.C. . The U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the European Commission, Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) organised a joint session “Sharing innovative, tested practices in sustainable urban mobility in EU and US cities”. ELIPTIC at TRB: Sharing innovative, tested practices in sustainable urban mobility in EU and US cities
ELIPTIC Coordinator Michael Glotz-Richter from the City of Bremen will take part in a joint session of the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the European Commission, Directorate General for Mobility and Transport. This will take place on the sidelines of the Transport Research Board Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. on 10 January 2018.
This is an invitation-only side-session to the main TRB programme that can welcome up to 45 participants from EU and US cities, regions, public transport providers, public sector organisations, research organisations and companies.

Are buses with a diesel-powered heater true zero-emission buses?
On 5 December 2017 about 50 experts from German speaking countries came to Bremen to discuss how to heat electric buses properly, especially during winter.

Towards clean bus systems: ELIPTIC at the UITP -Busworld International Bus Conference
UITP-Busworld International Bus Conference (23-25 October in Kortrijk, Belgium) culminated in the Research & Innovation Day: ZeEUS and other Bus Projects. The event gathered more than 200 stakeholders from EU institutions, industry, academia, and other professionals from the transport sector.

Workshop at CIVITAS FORUM Conference 2017 - Introducing e-buses in cities’ public transport systems -
The ELIPTIC project in cooperation with ebusplan will offer a workshop for cities, transport authorities and bus operators that are interested in the introduction of e-buses in their cities. The workshop will take place on 28 September during the Deployment Day at 10.45 -12.15 (room yet tbd).
Participants will get a better understanding of vehicle, battery and charging technologies as well as the associated costs of these. The workshop will also address future developments and operational challenges in the implementation of e-buses. ELIPTIC workshop with first results of energy storage systems
Join ELIPTIC in Rome on 12th June 2017 at the Asstra Premises (Piazza Cola di Rienzo 80/A), in the center of the eternal city, to speak about upgrading and regenerating electric public transport systems!
The Workshop will host the Italian Ministry of Transport who will describe the state of art of tram systems in Italy. Presentations will then be given by Brussels, Bremen and Gdynia about their energy storage system concepts and Cagliari, Bergamo and Szeged about their electric bus solutions.
